Memphis fantasy n°1 - SOLD

Sixteen boxes, sixteen universes — and yet a single breath. This mixed-media work summons the electric spirit of the Memphis movement, which shook up design codes in the 80s, to reinvent it in relief and matter. Neon lightning on shocking pink background, multicolored cylinders placed like forgotten jazz instruments, red spinning top at the heart of a cosmic target, yellow question mark floating with impertinence — each box is a room in its own right, inhabited and vibrant. The whole overflows with formal joy, with that insolent freedom that refuses to choose between the seriousness of art and the pleasure of play.
